La Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios (Cofepris) informó, que por superar el límite establecido de 200 enterococos en 100 ml de agua que las playas Manzanillo, Hornos y Suave;no son aptas para uso recreativo , esto provocado por las lluvias, según información de la Secretaría de Salud del Estado de guerrero.
Los enterococos son microorganismos del género de bacterias del ácido láctico que causan diversas infecciones, entre ellas endocarditis, infecciones urinarias e intraabdominales, prostatitis, celulitis e infecciones de las heridas, así como bacteriemias concurrentes.
La titular de la dependencia, Aidé Ibáñez Castro, resaltó que las precipitaciones registradas en las últimas semanas, arrastraron basura provocando contaminación en las playas. Asimismo, indicó que la Cofepris realizó un análisis con resultados negativos.
Destacó que ya están limpiando las calles de la ciudad para que la próxima lluvia no arrastre la basura al mar.
Aidé Ibáñez Castro aclaró que las playas son aptas, destacando que los propios turistas sabían que estaban contaminadas porque era época de lluvias.
